Linking Blogs And Social Media - Part 2

There are two ways to link your blog to your Linkedin Profile page.

Both ways are enabled by Linkedin Application. Go to http://www.linkedin.com/apps for details.

Blog Link is the first app I tried. It connects to your website and looks for an RSS feed or other readable blog. My full profile on Linkedin now has a section that lists a few blog posts. There is a scroll bar that lets users look through all of your blogs. The app browses all of the websites you list in your profile to find a feed.

The second app is called Tweets and it connects to your Twitter account. It posts feeds from twitter to your profile along with any other updates you make.

I am happy this is working, but the frustrating part is that it was different than my research said it would be. In other words, the methods change so frequently that we can assume even this post is outdated by the time you are reading it.
