17 April 2010
When designing messages for your website, follow these basic rules.
While working on the messaging for the participants in our 10-Day Makeover, we thought of a few basics that needed to be mentioned again. Without any lecture to bore you, we present 36 reminders for effective website content:

What To Do |
The final thing you ought to do is to be communicate your real value. It may be hard to describe your value. Here is an example of how we upgraded the value description for Great White Bottling:

NEW CONTENT

Note that each item in the outline becomes a page. The old navigation said very little about the company's value. The new outline communicates more about what they do and helps to position them in the customer's mind and in the market.
As you might imagine, creating a new content outline for a company's website requires research, discussion, and eventually testing. If you would like us to help you upgrade the content on your website, please complete the form above.
